Punchline: Not Afraid

For this week’s Sunday Night Music Club, we’re bringing you a track from Punchline’s first full-length album on Fueled By Ramen. ‘Not Afraid’ is the second track on Action which the band recorded in Chicago with Sean O’Keefe who had previously produced Fall Out Boy’s Take This To Your Grave.

Punchline later released the album 37 Everywhere on Fueled By Ramen in 2006 before starting their own label, Modern Short Stories, and releasing two more full-length albums: Just Say Yes and most recently, Delightfully Pleased. Check out modernshortstories.net for more from Punchline!

choosing sides, you choose to hide
and try and act like you are fine
while all awhile that’s not your style at all
like robot maids in Rocky 4,
it makes no sense but what’s for sure,
I can choose myself what to regret

Thanks to Jennie for picking this song!
