Get your very own Mystery Mailer here for only $5 and be as happy as Mary M. from Loxahatchee, FL!
My Mystery Mailer from TDR Records came in the mail today; cell phone pics definitely hindered the quality, but you can still tell that everything I got is awesome!
GOD I AM SO HAPPY THIS IS SO GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Six years ago today we released our 18-track compilation called First Taste of the Morning! This was one of my first encounters with the industry standard of printing a 10% over/under run. I ordered 1,000 CDs and got 1,100 back. Now, there are less than 30 copies left!
This release is special to me for a few reasons. One is the amount of songs I was able to put on it by Valencia, Over It, The Hush Sound, Park, and two little known bands at the time called All Time Low and The Swellers.
Another reason worth mentioning is that it reminds me of my time living in Clawson Michigan (near Detroit) and has my old P.O. box address. Like The Prize Fight’s The Process EP, it was partially funded by can collecting the night before garbage day.

The Anniversary Process Of The Prize Fight
March 7, 2011
The Prize Fight were the first official band signed to TDR way back in the fall of 2005. A few months later we released The Process CD/EP and it’s still one of my favorite records—ever.
Today marks the EPs fifth anniversary, wow! Listen to “Now or Never” for the first time or for the first time in awhile above. I’ll be jamming the entire record at least a handful of times today.
Read about how I partially funded The Process with glass bottles and aluminum cans here. You can also pick up a physical copy in our online store for only $1.99.
